TEAR TROUGH / EYE BAGS
Ever find yourself cursing the job that takes away your sleep? Annoying isn’t it, that we need to devote so much time to our jobs in order to afford the things we want, to make ourselves look beautiful. And what do we end up with because of it?
Bags. Little shadow-casting nightmares that drain away our youth and camp out under our eyes. The one point on our faces that perhaps attracts the most notice, and that’s where they choose to appear. Typical.
But at least there is now a solution to this seemingly unavoidable modern problem. Using Dermal Fillers, a qualified cosmetic nurse can smooth out the bags, blending them into your cheeks and removing those deep, shadow-prone lines.
The procedure
The procedure is similar to other Dermal Filler based treatments, and is similarly quick, easy and safe.
Firstly you would need to come in to a clinic, so a trained cosmetic nurse could examine your eyes and make note of the size of any bags or hollowness, before planning the optimum treatment for you.
Anaesthetic cream is applied then small amounts of filler are injected in the places required.
When will you see the effects
The effects of a tear trough treatment are partly visible immediately. Over the following week, the filler absorbs water and improves the appearance of the treatment.
Some people experience a little temporary tenderness, swelling or bruising around the injection sites, which will settle after a few days.
Aftercare
After treatment, you will be advised not to wear makeup for up to 12 hours. You should also avoid the sun, and hot places such as saunas and steam rooms, for 2 weeks. Some people experience a little temporary tenderness, swelling or bruising around the injection sites, which will settle after a few days. After this you can begin enjoying your new, youthful eyes!
