Semi permanent makeup could benefit everyone, specifically:

During the cosmetic tattooing procedure, a topical anaesthetic cream is applied to the area, minimising any discomfort. Abby Stacey uses a state of the art machine and skin stretching techniques to further reduce any potential discomfort. Some clients may experience slight stinging sensation during treatment, specifically on sensitive areas like the lips.

Usual healing time is between 4-10 days. The colours in the cosmetic tattoo can look darker for the first few days. This is just temporary and the colour will soften. Some people experience a little redness and swelling to the area but this will usually subside in 24 hours.

Generally, semi permanent make up will last several years, although will fade over time. This can vary depending the individuals skin type, age and environmental factors. A colour boost is recommended every 12-18 months to maintain a fresh look. As this is semi permanent, it also gives you the opportunity to adjust your style or colour should you wish. If you choose not to get a colour boost, the colour will eventually fade, although there may still be slight residue of colour.

Abby Stacey – Advances Skin Treatments was founded by a registered nurse, who was the lead for infection control on the ward, so you can be assured that the up most care and attention is taken in this area. All equipment is cleaned to UK standards and we only use sterile ‘single use only’ needles, eliminating cross contamination. Patch tests and hypo-allergenic pigments are used, reducing the chance of an allergic reaction. Lip treatments can aggravate the cold sore virus, if you are prone to them. Any one undergoing a lip procedure that suffers with cold sores are advised to ask their doctor or pharmacist for Zovirax tablets. These should be taken 5 days before the treatment to prevent a break out. After care instructions are also given at appointment.
